Rocco and his wife, Ellen, have been involved in evangelism, and church planting. They have been Missionaries in Argentina
since 1988. During their first term their ministry was responsible for the new church plantings in the cities of Formosa, Santa
Fe and Colastine. During their second term, their ministry helped specifically with the new church planting in the city of
Reconquista, the closest A/G church 150 miles away. They also were responsible for planting a new church planting in the city
of Santo Tome, a neighboring city of Santa Fe where they live.
During their third term of service, they started five new church plantings. One in the city of Formosa, with the help of
the church started there eight years ago. A new church planting in the city of Avellaneda was started with the help of
the church in Reconquista, a neighboring city. CHURCHES STARTING CHURCHES!
In 1998, Rocco was asked to direct the National Home Missions Department for the A/G of Argentina called VEN (Vision de
Extension Nacional), with a special thrust in Church Planting. He travels extensively encouraging churches throughout the
country to participate in starting new church plantings for the propagation of the gospel in this great country. During their
fourth term of ministry, Rocco oversaw the launching of the VISION 2005 through VEN, a goal to plant 12 new churches during
2005. This goal was accomplished to the glory of God. They are currently focusing on the VISION 2010 which is to multiply the
number of new churches in the next 5 years. That would be 24 in 2006/ 48 in 2007/ 96 in 2008/ 192 in 2009/ 384 in 2010.
Ellen has been involved in a local Christian radio program directed towards the needs of women and the family as well as
speaking to women in women’s groups and churches. She has led a ladies Bible study in her home for women from the international
community in Buenos Aires.
