Jose' & Marsha Fortin are Assemblies of God missionaries to Honduras. Honduras is a democratic republic in Central America bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the southwest by El Salvador, to the southeast by Nicaragua, with the Caribbean Sea on the north coast and the Pacific Ocean on the south. The climate varies from tropical in the lowlands to temperate in the mountains. The population of 7.3 million, is 90% mestizo, and about 47% of the population identify themselves as Roman Catholic, with another 36% identifying themselves as Protestants.

Jose' came to the Lord at the age of 20 through the efforts of an Assemblies of God missionary in his home country of Honduras. He began getting involved in the church and decided to go to Bible College in the United States. It was there that God began to put a burden in his heart to some day return to Latin America and share the 'Good News'.The Fortin's main ministry is evangelism through tent crusades. They also conduct seminars for national pastors and local church groups, and are the directors for ICI (Global University) in Honduras. Before becoming missionaries to Honduras they served two (four-year) terms in the Dominican Republic.
