2007

Thank you for your giving to LFTL in 2007.

In 2007, our District men and churches gave

$ 18, 925

towards the LFTL projects of the District. There was also an additional $8292 given directly to Book of Hope or Bible Alliance last year.

In 2008 we would like to increase that amount to reach $30,000. Please consider contributing to this worthy cause that has helped ministries around the world as well as here in our local District.

2008 Men's Retreat

May 15 - 17, 2008

Encourage every man in your circle of friends or church to be a part of this year's retreat May 15-17 at the Jordan Grand in Bethel, ME.

This year we are adding an extra night with great activities during the day on Friday, and a Steak BBQ Friday evening for LFTL.

Our special guest for this retreat will be Randy Ruiz, a dynamic evangelist who speaks to men, youth, and families across the nation. He will minister to the hearts of men of all ages.

For more information check out the retreat page by clicking here.

Relationship Thoughts
(Dan Miller, pastor of Back Mountain Harvest Assembly in Trucksville)

1.       Never bring up mistakes of the past.
2.       If you have to criticize, do it lovingly (choose your words and your place).
3.       Never go to sleep with an argument unsettled.
4.       When you have done something wrong be ready to admit it and ask for forgiveness. 5.       Never both be angry at the same time.
6.       Never yell at each other unless the house is on fire.
7.       If one of you has to win an argument, let it be your mate.
8.       Neglect the whole world rather than each other.
9.       At least once every day, try to say at least one kind or complimentary thing to your life's partner.
10.   It takes two to make a quarrel and the one in the wrong usually does the most talking.
