We are changing it up again this year. As you can tell by the name a new emphasis. This year we are focusing on four areas of ministry or leadership in the church: Connect, Construct, Consider and Continue. Each one of these areas will deal with a particular mission in our churches today. Connect will deal with how your ministry goes about connecting to the world. What are its access points, its focus, its purpose. Construct will deal with how the ministry trains and moves individuals along in their spiritual growth. Consider will speak to doctrinal and spiritual issues that you or your ministry may face. And finally continue will be dealing in the area of involving people back into ministries with topics such as leadership development, missions, and worship. Every individual involved in ministry will benefit from attending this conference.

We will still hold two sessions Friday evening and three on Saturday followed by a general session six with everyone attending. Held in the sanctuary, Pastor Dennis Marquardt, District Superintendant will be facilitating a workshop on  "Do You Have What It Takes (To Be A Leader)." This workshop will challenge you as a leader personally as well as your evaluation and of others as leaders and your commitment to growing true leaders in your ministry and church.  Below see the schedule forthis year's event:

Although this year there will be four areas of focus as seen above, we will still have specific sessions that fit into our traditional specializations in the areas of Christian Education, Worship, Spiritual Leadership, College, Media, etc. You can take all the workshops covering one area or you can choose as many different areas as you are involved or interested in. That's why we have a workshop format that gives you the maximum amount of choice to meet your training needs.

Again, this year we will feature a special worship emphasis that starts on Friday evening with the two session workshop “Powered Up Practice”. During this session we are encouraging everyone interested to bring your instruments and voices to participate in a live worship practice session. We will hit on a variety of topics building onlast year's session. The culmination of this workshop will actually be on Saturday afternoon as we lead the whole ACMC in worship during the final session. There are also three other workshops on Saturday that will encourage you in your ministry of worship.

Because this conference starts Friday and continues through Saturday we have secured favorable lodging rates at Lafayette’s Oceanfront Resort. The Lafayette is located right on Wells Beach about a fifteen minute drive from the church. Be sure to indicate you are with the Northern New England District when you call. We are also listing some other properties in the area, but we have not secured rates  at these facilities.

You will also notice on the registration form that there is a Saturday only option for those who may not be able to make the Friday evening sessions. Many of the workshops will be repeated. Check to see if those you are interested in are offered Saturday. Parts of the the worship seminar and the video workshop are only offered Friday evening.
